Alex Avgud (1986) is a Russian-born photographer, currently based in The Netherlands. His work is a continuous exploration of human resistance to mechanisms of oppression. He approaches social and political issues such as LGBT+ rights and police brutality in a manner that triggers an emotional response from the viewer, often using the methodology of documenting physical performances.
