In my work, I offer descriptions of states beyond the surface. If the pictures were transformed into poetry, one would obtain lyrically complex verses, the end of which culminate rhymelessly and brutally before the next verse. Like mosaic pieces of something shattered that was once perfect in its entirety. My picture „Hibiskus“ was taken as an answer to a photographic conversation at the time of the Corona Lockdown – it should show the fragility but also the beauty of botanical forms. – Nora Lina Merten
